The ABCEX cryptocurrency exchange announced the launch of Bitcoin futures, as well as the start of margin trading.
ABCEX’s new functionality complements the existing spot trading available on the platform and expands access for Russian users to cryptocurrency derivatives, allowing them to hedge risks and implement complex trading strategies, including short-term speculative operations.
The futures section features the BTCUSDTFUT instrument, a Bitcoin futures denominated and settled in USDT with leverage up to x10.

According to the platform, ABCEX became the first exchange focused on the Russian market to offer margin and futures trading to users. According to representatives of the exchange, this allows the platform to respond to the growing interest of traders in more complex financial instruments and strengthen its position in the local market.
“We are launching futures trading with basic functionality to gradually test and improve the system. This approach helps us identify key user needs and ensure the stability of the platform,” said an ABCEX representative.
In the future, the exchange plans to expand the list of pairs available for futures trading and revise the leverage parameters.
