Terawulf (WULF) shares have risen 31% this month, even as bitcoin’s spot price has decreased by nearly 17%. Cipher Digital (CIFR) and HUT 8 (HUT) have increased by 8% and 6%, respectively, while Core Scientific (CORZ) remains mostly stable.

Markus Thielen, founder of 10x Research, noted that these stocks are among the most heavily shorted by hedge funds and may benefit from favorable economic conditions.

"With long-term energy contracts secured at attractive rates, these companies have a strategic edge that goes beyond just Bitcoin mining," Thielen mentioned in a communication to clients.

He also pointed out that capital is increasingly being directed toward structural winners, while traditional operators risk being overlooked.

Bitcoin has surged past $65,000, likely influenced by gains in futures linked to the Nasdaq 100 index. This increase occurred despite President Donald Trump not addressing cryptocurrency in his State of the Union address.

Spot bitcoin ETFs reported $257.7 million in net inflows on Tuesday, the highest since early February, according to data from SoSoValue. Analysts indicated that sustained inflows are necessary in the coming days to initiate a genuine market recovery from this decline.

In relation to pricing, bitcoin is trading near significant pivot points, as stated by Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Mumbai-based Giottus.com.

"A sustained break below $60,000 is widely regarded as a downside trigger, with ~$57,500 recognized as the next significant level. Conversely, reclaiming $72,000-$75,000 would provide a clearer indication of returning risk appetite," Subburaj noted in an email.

In traditional markets, the Dollar Index reversed its early losses, putting pressure on dollar-denominated assets like gold and bitcoin. Oil prices fell as U.S. stockpiles increased, although the decline remained muted due to the potential risk of military conflict between the U.S. and Iran. Remain vigilant.
