Jack Dorsey Endorses Bitcoin Advocate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for President

Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and current CEO of fintech startup Block, has endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Democratic presidential contender who supports Bitcoin.
On Sunday, Dorsey shared a video of an interview between Kennedy and Fox News’ Harris Faulkner, captioning it, “Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., argues he can beat Trump and DeSantis in 2024.” Dorsey has publicly expressed optimism regarding Bitcoin’s future as a global currency.
In 2014, Dorsey suggested that Bitcoin could emerge as the “native currency of the internet.” Block’s Cash App, a mobile payment service, allows users to buy and trade Bitcoin, and Dorsey has continued to advocate for Bitcoin and blockchain technology through this platform and other ventures.
Against Government’s War on Crypto
When others pointed out that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) would likely prevent Kennedy from becoming the Democratic nominee, Dorsey replied, “Even more reason,” adding, “True but they seem to be more irrelevant by the day.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nephew of the late John F. Kennedy, is an attorney who has worked in government for decades, specializing in environmental law. He has gained recent attention for his vocal criticism of COVID-19 vaccines, calling for more testing and regulation and expressing doubts about their safety.
At the Bitcoin 2023 conference in Miami, Kennedy stated that the Canadian government’s controversial decision to freeze the bank accounts of truck drivers protesting lockdowns sparked his interest in Bitcoin.
The Democratic presidential nominee has spoken out against the government’s “war on crypto” and its plans to establish a central bank digital currency (CBDC).
