Keyrock, a firm providing digital asset services based in Brussels, has completed a Series C funding round led by SC Ventures, the venture division of Standard Chartered, achieving a valuation of $1.1 billion, as stated in a press release on Tuesday.

Ripple, known for its blockchain-based enterprise solutions, also took part in the fundraising as a continuing supporter. The funding round is still open and has the potential to reach $100 million.

Keyrock indicated in the release that the new funds will be utilized to reinforce its financial position, broaden its range of services, and pursue acquisition opportunities.

Established in 2017, the firm provides market making, asset management, over-the-counter (OTC) trading, and options services within digital asset markets. It aims to serve as a link between traditional financial institutions and crypto-native markets.

“In 2026, we’re aiming for enhanced growth in our service offerings, client engagement, and geographical presence, as we seek to increase our market share and solidify our status as a prominent player,” said Keyrock CEO Kevin de Patoul in the release.

Keyrock operates on more than 80 centralized and decentralized trading platforms and employs over 200 people worldwide.

The firm ventured into asset and wealth management by acquiring Turing Capital, a Luxembourg-based alternative investment fund manager, in September of the previous year.

This acquisition marked the inception of Keyrock’s Asset and Wealth Management division, a new unit focused on institutional clients and private investors.
