The announcement coincided with the launch of Midnight's mainnet, which was also disclosed on Thursday morning.
Hoskinson, who humorously donned a McDonald’s uniform in reference to the recent market downturn, remarked: "The industry is not in good shape. S*** is getting real. Twitter is a nuclear dumpster fire. Sentiment is at an all time low."
However, he asserted that it represents a minor downturn, while the macro perspective remains positive.
