  • Recently, MetaMask users have been granted access to PayPal for cryptocurrency acquisitions.

Moreover, Venmo is focused on facilitating smoother crypto transfers for its users. In 2021, it began offering Bitcoin purchases and subsequently introduced price alert notifications for popular cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The latest press release outlines various features within Venmo, such as the ‘crypto address QR code’ that enables users to receive cryptocurrencies from different addresses. Additionally, the PayPal executive noted that users will have options to explore, accompanied by a ‘use case’ for digital assets, as cryptocurrencies are increasingly used for immediate payments in the country.

Furthermore, PayPal supports Venmo in multiple ways, having collaborated with other crypto services for growth. Last December, it permitted MetaMask users to utilize PayPal accounts for cryptocurrency purchases, allowing direct transfers to their own custodial wallets. Now, they are eager to enable Venmo to assist its users with cryptocurrency transactions and exchanges in real time.
