Shibarium Mainnet Launch Approaches: Validators Activate on Mainnet0

  • No transactions have occurred on the Shibarium testnet “PuppyNet” for more than three days.
  • There has been a 2,210% surge in the inflow of large holders over the past week.

The launch of the Shibarium mainnet has been previously suggested by the project’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, who is set to participate in the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference and hackathons in Toronto, Canada. The lack of activity on the Shibarium testnet “PuppyNet” for over three days, along with the activation of Shibarium validators on the mainnet, has sparked speculation regarding a potential launch early next week.

The “PuppyNet” Shibarium testnet has not processed any blocks in three days. As per Puppyscan, a blockchain explorer, the last transaction occurred on August 5. The Shibarium testnet was concluded after achieving 35 million transactions and over 17 million wallet addresses.

Highly Anticipated Event

With validators now operational on the mainnet, some community members have theorized that the Shibarium mainnet launch is imminent. While this does not confirm that the Shibarium mainnet is set to go live next week, it does suggest that it could be a possibility.

In the meantime, Lucie, a spokesperson for Shiba Inu, has verified that the mainnet launch of Shibarium will take place in the coming days. She indicated that the Shiba Ecosystem community has cause for celebration as the ecosystem is poised to “kickstart the burn run.”

The anticipated release of Shibarium’s mainnet was previously alluded to in a blog post by lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, with the Blockchain Futurist Conference as the backdrop. Data from IntoTheBlock reveals a remarkable increase in the number of major holders acquiring Shiba Inu (SHIB), with a 2,210% rise in the inflow of large holders during the last week.
