These listings come after weeks of suggestions from Kraken’s support team that they might start supporting Reddit Moons. At that time, Kraken firmly denied any implication of a forthcoming listing. Shortly after the exchanges of messages heightened expectations among MOON holders, the cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com stepped in to support the token.

Strong Backing by Kraken

Users earn BRICK and MOON for their contributions to their respective Reddit communities. Members receive tokens for providing content and comments, which can be used to tip other members.

Reddit’s experiment with Community Points commenced in 2020, making Monday’s listing a significant event for r/CryptoCurrency and potentially a pivotal moment for the token. In celebration of the occasion, Kraken funded a banner advertisement on r/CryptoCurrency using Reddit Moons. Kraken has previously supported the subreddit in a similar manner by financing banner ads.

Additionally, Kraken has introduced perpetual futures for MOON and BRICK, a financial instrument that allows investors to speculate on the future price movements of the tokens. A notable aspect of the exchange’s support for these cryptocurrencies is the ability for Reddit users to deposit MOON and BRICK tokens into a Kraken account.
