Inactive SHIB Wallet Activates, Enabling the Incineration of 113 Million Shiba Inu

- SHIB community actively incinerates over 101 million SHIB, spurred by a contribution from a dormant whale.
- Shibburn platform discloses the top 10 largest burn transactions for SHIB, highlighting community engagement.
- Excitement grows for significant SHIB burns with the impending Shibarium mainnet launch following the Blockchain Futurist Conference.
As per information from the Shibburn platform, which monitors SHIB burn activities via Etherscan, the Shiba Inu community has been engaged in burning additional SHIB tokens. In the last 24 hours, more than 101 million SHIB tokens were eliminated.
A notable share of these burns can be linked to a dormant whale that had been inactive for 2.2 years. Shibburn has also released a compilation of the top 10 largest burn transactions for SHIB.

Shiba Inu burn rate increases by 196%
Shibburn indicated that a total of 101,888,615 SHIB were dispatched to dead-end wallets since yesterday morning. These burns led to a 196% rise in the burn rate. The bulk of the SHIB in this total was sent to an unspendable wallet by an anonymous whale, amounting to 77,524,940 SHIB.
It is noteworthy that this wallet has conducted only three transactions, with the first occurring approximately 2.2 years ago, as verified by Etherscan data.
Considerable burns of Shiba Inu tokens are expected with the rollout of the Shibarium mainnet by Shytoshi Nakamoto and the development team. The launch is anticipated to occur after August 16, following the conclusion of the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto.
