Crypto Exchange Swyftx Reveals Addition of ShibaSwap (BONE) to Its Platform
- BONE is a token utilized within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, developed on the Shibarium Layer-2 blockchain.
- The results indicated that 90.7% of participants favored BONE, while only 9.3% opted for Alchemy Pay.
On Monday, Swyftx, a cryptocurrency exchange operating in Australia and New Zealand, declared that it will be listing the Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) token.
The Shiba Inu ecosystem employs BONE, a token created on the Shibarium Layer-2 blockchain, serving as its governance and gas token. BONE’s (BONE) trading volume experienced a 3% decline over the previous 24 hours, which was not an immediate response to the listing announcement from Swyftx.
The Australian cryptocurrency exchange Swyftx announced via Twitter on June 12 that it has initiated support for the Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) token. Trading for the Shibarium Layer-2 blockchain gas token BONE has commenced.
On Friday, Swyftx published a survey regarding its upcoming token offerings. Community members were queried about their preferences for the inclusion of Alchemy Pay (ACH) and Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) on the trading platform. The results indicated that 90.7% of participants favored BONE, while only 9.3% selected Alchemy Pay.
Failed to Boost Price
As the BONE token is expected to garner similar interest as Shiba Inu, the Shiba Inu community expresses appreciation to the exchange for its listing.
In the meantime, lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has temporarily halted the Shibarium official Telegram group due to rising speculation regarding the mainnet launch date. However, this “pause” has also prompted the community to question whether the Shibarium release is on the horizon.
The current price of BONE stands at $0.6852, reflecting a decrease of 2.31% over the last 24 hours and 11% over the past week. Shiba Inu experienced a 30% drop during Saturday’s market turmoil but recovered 10% on Monday. The lack of engagement from whales and traders is also evident in an 18% decline in trading volume.
